PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a thumb-turn for a lock capable of corresponding to a thin door in the thickness and, at the same time, obtaining the thumb-turn with good operability. SOLUTION: The structure of the thumb-turn for the lock comprises a mounting pedestal 1 capable of being mounted to a wall surface of a door and a control panel 25 provided to the front side of the mounting pedestal in a state to enable it to freely oscillate, a window section 21 is formed in the mounting pedestal, on the other hand, it is characterized that the window section passes through the back side of the control panel and that a thrust arm section 36 capable of being thrust to a pressure receiving movable piece 53 provided to the inside of a lock box 52 of the door 51 or a thrust arm member 27 is provided.
