PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing sintered parts, which imparts a back taper to a gear tooth formed in the sintered parts without producing a crack in a material by a method superior in productivity, and imparts sufficiently secured strength to the parts. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method comprises: arranging a clearance 4 which is formed on the base material 1A of the sintered parts with the gear tooth 2 obtained by compacting and sintering powders, by detaching one part of a tooth flank 2a of the gear tooth 2 formed in the base material, and extends in an axial direction, so that the clearance 4 can be located at such a position that both ends of the clearance 4 retain the diameter D<SB>2</SB>capable of guaranteeing the engagement of the gear tooth, and can include a parallel part 4a which extends to a tooth bottom side from the position on the diameter of guaranteeing the engagement as a base point parallel to the central line CL of a tooth space; and sizing the material 1A with a sizing die having a tooth-profile-sizing face inclined in a narrowing direction toward a die push-in direction to impart the back taper on the gear tooth 2 of the parts.
