PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-allergic composition, especially the anti-allergic composition enabling a fiber or a fiber product to be finished without causing discoloration; and to provide the fiber or the fiber product having anti-allergic properties. SOLUTION: The anti-allergic composition contains at least one kind of a compound represented by general formula 1 (wherein, R1 is a 4-18C alkyl group or a benzyl group; R2 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; X<SP>m-</SP>is a counter anion; n is an integer of 1-5; m is a valence of a counter ion). The allergenicity of the allergen such as mite and tick, and pollen can be reduced by the anti-allergic composition, and the function for reducing the allergenicity can be imparted to the fiber or the fiber product such as a carpet, a Tatami mat (mat made of rush for Japanese life), beddings, a curtain, clothing, a stuffed toy, a mask, a filter material and a dust-collecting bag for a vacuum cleaner without causing the discoloration by the composition.
