A first sensor unit (S1) detects the approach of a person towards a work station so that this sensor unit generates a signal (Si) when the person passes at an initial distance (a1) from a reference position (R) near the work station. A second sensor unit (S2) detects when the person comes closer in relation to the reference position. An independent claim is also included for a method for interaction between a person and a robot unit at a work station.
