<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woodwind instrument whose sound quality can be improved easily, in musical performance and which is easy to play. <P>SOLUTION: The inner peripheral part of a head section tube 2 is sectioned into an open space 2b present more on the side of an opening end 2a than a pressing washer 8 and a closed space 2c present between a reflecting plate 7 and the pressing washer 8. A sleeve 9 which is nearly concentric with the head section tube 2 is interposed on the side of the closed space 2c of the head section tube 2. A screw shaft 5 is inserted into the center of the inner peripheral portion of the sleeve 9. Further, the inner peripheral portion of the sleeve 9 communicates with the open space 2b of the head section tube 2, through the bored hole 8e of the pressing washer 8 and a cork 10 is externally fitted onto the outer periphery of the sleeve, in close contact with each other. Then the cork 10 is interposed between the reflecting plate and pressing washer 8 so that its outer peripheral surface abuts against the inner peripheral surface of the head section tube 2, and both ends in the axial direction abut against a cork pressing surface 8c and the reflecting plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
