<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar system for reducing or preventing the adhesion of foreign matters to a transmission window section. <P>SOLUTION: In the radar system 100, an air duct 50 that has an inlet 50a open to the front of a vehicle and an exhausting port 50b that is open to a peripheral region on the outer surface of the transmission window section 41 as an adhesion prevention means for reducing or preventing the adhesion of foreign matters onto the external surface of the transmission window section 41 while the sectional area of the exhausting port 50b is smaller than that of the inlet 50a is provided so that laser beams and the reflection light cannot be prevented and air discharged from the exhausting port 50b is supplied to the outer surface of the transmission window section 41.
