<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nutritious pregelatinized rice capable of simply cooked in a short time of a half or less of usual cooking time by only adding water without washing with water when cooking rice, having advantage of long preservability inherent to the nutritious pregelatinized rice, and comprising nutritive powder of animals and plants, vegetable nutrition solution or nutrient composition of plant oils. <P>SOLUTION: The nutritious pregelatinized rice is obtained by a processing method comprising supplying to a mixer 4 a raw material rice sufficiently removed rice bran on the surface of the rice by a rice polisher 2, mixing the nutritive powder of animals and plants, the vegetable nutrition solution and the plant oil with the raw material rice to make them coarsely adhere thereto, depressurizing and agitating in a vacuum agitator 5 to make them sufficiently adhere. The raw material rice is fed in a electromagnetic heat chamber 7 to be heated by microwave irradiation, steamed with vapor of moisture from the rice grain to be pretreated, dissolving the nutritive powder of animals and plants, the vegetable nutrition solution and the nutrient composition of the plant oil with the steam to be absorbed in the rice grain, transferring the processed rice to a vacuum cooling chamber 8 to be depressurized, and quickly cooling by the depressurization to half solidify. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
