PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pre-mixed compression self-firing combustion engine capable of realizing stabilization of combustion and reduction of noise even at high load operation.
SOLUTION: A heat insulation part 15 is formed on a central part of an apex of a piston 4 constituting a partial wall surface of a combustion chamber 14. Cooing of a mixed gas is suppressed near the heat insulation part 15 when a pressure and a temperature of the mixed gas in the combustion chamber 14 are raised accompanying with ascending of the piston and a high temperature portion is formed here. Therefore, a predetermined temperature distribution that the temperature is not concentrated to a some temperature range is formed in the combustion chamber 14 and when firing occurs at the maximum temperature portion, combustion gradually occurs according to the temperature distribution, the mixed air in the combustion chamber 14 is not burned at a stretch and combustion of the mixed gas is relaxed. Further, the predetermined temperature distribution can be formed by arranging the heat insulation part 15 and the maximum temperature portion becoming the firing starting place can be spatially defined.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
|
