PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security method which drastically reduces the possibility of an information leak to improve security and can easily and inexpensively be introduced in a short period, and to provide a client and a server thereof. SOLUTION: In the security method of preventing a leak of communication information between the client and server connected through a leased line, a user makes a connection with the server through not the leased line, but a public line to register password information, and the user sets the password information to the client, each of the client and server codes the communication information with the code corresponding to the set or registered password information and sends the coded information to the leased line, and then decodes the coded communication information received from the leased line with the code corresponding to the password information.
