PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously acquire an optical tomographic image and a fluorescent tomographic image of a sample such as a living tissue and a living cell. SOLUTION: A light source unit 2 emits a laser beam composed of low coherence light for stimulating fluorochrome, and a light division means 3 divides the laser beam L into measuring light L1 and reference light L2. After a frequency modulation means 6 gives a small frequency difference between the reference light L2 and reflected light L3, a multiplexer means 5 multiplexes the reflected light L3 and the reference light L2. An interference light detection means 7 detects interference light L5 obtained when the reflected light L3 and the reference light L2 are multiplexed, and a fluorescence detection means 8 detects fluorescence L4 emitted by stimulating the fluorochrome of the sample S. Then, an image generation means 9 generates the optical tomographic image of the sample from the interference light L5 detected by the interference light detection means 7 and also generates the fluorescent tomographic image of the sample S from the fluorescence L4 detected by the fluorescence detection means 8.
