PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic excellent in stability and feel of use. SOLUTION: The cosmetic consists of an oily first preparation containing 0.01-10 mass% of an oil-soluble vitamin and a vegetable oil and a lotion-like second preparation containing (a) at least one kind selected from an extract of plants, sea weeds or fungi by water and/or a water-soluble organic solvent, a culture medium of lactobacillus or yeast and (b) at least one kind of thickener selected from carrageenan and xanthan gum. The first and second preparations are packed in separate containers. The cosmetic is prepared on an as-needed basis by mixing the first and second preparations together, when it is used.
