PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable fault diagnosis of a pressure sensor of a braking input side under even in such a condition that the braking input side and a braking output side are shut off from each other. SOLUTION: In this brake equipment of a vehicle, the braking input side which generates hydraulic pressure when a brake operation part 2 is operated and the braking output side for supplying hydraulic pressure to a brake caliper 4 can be communicated with or shut off from each other through a first electromagnetic opening and closing valve V1, and a hydraulic pressure modulator 6 for adjusting hydraulic pressure of the braking output side by operating electric motor 23 is provided. This brake equipment of a vehicle has a first pressure sensor 28A and a second pressure sensor 28B for detecting hydraulic pressure of the braking input side, and performs fault diagnosis of the pressure sensors 28A and 28B based on detection values of the pressure sensors 28A and 28B.
