PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a new method for processing the second relief section of a press die. SOLUTION: The invention relates to the method for processing the second relief section 23 based on the profile line 21a of the punching blade 21 of the press die 20, by means of a cutting tool 1 having a spherical end mill section 3. To practice this method by CAM, the profile line 21a of the punching blade 21 of the press die 20 is defined and a cutter line 22 which offsets the profile line 21a in the press punching direction and in the radial direction of the end mill section 3 is defined, in CAM.
