PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pattern which can be formed easily and is hardly damaged. SOLUTION: A dot pattern 10 is formed on the rear surface 2b of a glass substrate 2. A first protective dot DP1 to be unrecognized as a dot D is formed in the dot D-unformed portion of a pattern forming area Z1. A second protective dot DP2 to be unrecognized as the dot D is formed in a blank area Z2 outside the pattern forming area Z1. A third protective dot DP3 is formed on the outside adjacent to the blank area Z2.
