The invention relates to a conveyor device comprising rectilinear segments and at least one curved segment and means for adjusting the distance between the guide rails (5) which serve as sub-neck guides. The aforementioned rails (5) are formed by a section which is made from thermoplastic material and which is fixed to a support (11), whereby said support (11) can move in relation to the frame (10) of the conveyor device by means of actuating cylinders (16). According to the invention, each rail (5) extends integrally on either side of the joint between the curved segment and the adjacent rectilinear segment. Moreover, each support (11) comprises clamp and slide means which are used to fix the corresponding rail (5) partially, such as to confer thereon a certain degree of longitudinal freedom in order to absorb elastically variations in length caused by a change in the radius of curvature when the distance between the rails (5) is modified. Each support (11) is integral with a base plate (12) comprising a crescent-shaped arched prong having a cross-section which varies between the ends thereof such that it can deform elastically in quasi-uniformly along the entire length thereof under the effect of the actuating cylinders (16). |
