The invention relates to a method and a device for encapsulating materials in liposomes (1), in particular for encapsulating active ingredients in liposomes (1). According to said method, two mono-layers (3, 4) are applied to the surface of a porous support membrane (2), differing volumes of fluid (5, 7, 10) in film form (33) are then applied to the respective external faces of the mono-layers (3, 4) that form a bi-layer (11). A compressible membrane (6) is then connected to the layer assembly consisting of the bi-layer (11), fluid volumes (5, 7, 10) and porous support membrane (2), in such a way that pores or channels (24) in the compressible membrane (6), which are filled with a buffer (7), lie adjacent to the fluid volumes (5, 9) that are to be stored in the interior of the liposomes (1). The bi-layer (11) is locally deformed by an excess pressure (8) that can be set in the buffer (7) in such a way that said layer (11) is pushed into the pores (23) of the porous support membrane (2) together with at least some of the fluid volumes (5, 9) that are to be stored in the interior of the liposomes (1). The bi-layer then constricts and is torn from the remaining bi-layer (11), said torn region (12) of the bi-layer (11) contracting to form a liposome (1) encapsulating the transported fluid volume (5, 9). The liposome (1) then passes through the porous support membrane (2). |
