OPTICAL DISK DEVICE

An optical disk device enabling a reduction in the number of parts, cost, and size by a rather simple structure and also capable of performing stable reproducing and writing operations and a disk changer device. The optical disk device comprises a performing chassis which is rotatably supported on the body of the device and on which a turntable is mounted, a cam groove of approximately Y-shape formed in the performing chassis, a drive lever in which a cam groove of approximately T-shape is formed and which transmits a power to a disk holding part, and a rotating lever rotatably supported on the body and engaged with the grooves of the performing chassis and the drive lever through a drive shaft. The rotation of the performing chassis and the movement of the drive lever holding a disk in association with the rotation of the performing chassis are performed following the rotation of the rotating lever by a series of operations.
