PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in vivo indwelling object having a property not provided in the one formed of a metal or a polymer material well-known at present, which is provided with both of the advantage of the in vivo indwelling object such as a metallic stent that it is plastically deformable at room temperature and is hardly recoiled after balloon expansion and the advantage of the in vivo indwelling object such as a stent formed of the polymer material that it is excellent in flexibility, is easily expanded and is also excellent in deliverability to a target part.
SOLUTION: The in vivo indwelling object is formed by using a composition containing a polymer which is solid at room temperature and not to be decomposed in vivo and an additive, whose Young's modulus by a tensile test is ≥100MPa, elongation at yield is ≤20% and elongation at break is ≥40%.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
