<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the processing speed of an electronic binder by setting feature information on electronic documents to structured documents in the electronic binder and a header part of the electronic binder. <P>SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus records file information set to the electronic documents, in the structured documents in the electronic binder, compresses the electronic documents in a predetermined compression form, and connects the created compressed electronic documents. The information processor refers to the file information in the structured documents to determine whether the electronic documents constituting the electronic binder can be processed, refers to the header part of the electronic binder to determine whether the electronic documents constituting the electronic binder can be processed, separates the electronic binder into the respective compressed electronic documents, and expands the compressed electronic documents into the electronic documents, based on the predetermined compression form. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
