<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film substantially having optical isotropy, and having reduced wavelength dispersion and high surface hardness. <P>SOLUTION: The stacked film is obtained by forming a layer having an ultraviolet ray absorbing function on the surface of a film satisfying inequality (1): 0≤Re(630)≤10 and ¾Rth(630)¾≤25, and inequality (II): ¾Re(400)-Re(700)¾≤10 and ¾Rth(400)-Rth(700)¾≤35; wherein Re(λ) denotes the frontal retardation value (unit: nm) in the wavelength of λnm; and Rth(λ) denotes the retardation value (unit: nm) in the film thickness direction in the wavelength of λnm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
