<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the functionality of a hydraulic clutch device that can be manually operated so as to conduct slip control, and start at a second gear shift, for example, and prevent a clutch from being damaged because of unconsciously connecting the clutch too fast. <P>SOLUTION: This hydraulic clutch operation device for an automobile comprises a master cylinder 10 in compliance with a clutch pedal 8, and a slave cylinder 14 to add force to the clutch 6. The master and slave cylinders 10 and 14 are incorporated into a hydraulic pipe 12 extended between the clutch pedal 8 and the clutch 6. The device also comprises a device disposed on the hydraulic pipe 12 for controlling or limiting volumetric flow of hydraulic fluid.
