<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin-molded laminated varistor which is free of peeling and bonding defects, even when a mechanical or abrupt electrical load is impressed on a lead terminal. <P>SOLUTION: The lead terminal is provided at a ample length turning portion of an external electrode to increase the connection strength between the lead terminal and external electrode, thereby obtaining a chip-type laminated varistor that can avoid faults due to a mechanical load and an electric load and keep bonding to a substrate, even when a surge of high energy is absorbed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
