<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new structure capable of reconciling miniaturization and operability for a coordinate input device mounted to a device body. <P>SOLUTION: The optical coordinate input device 101 which is a coordinate input device built in the device body comprises an optical window 113 exposed on the outer face of the device body, a light source 114 for radiating illuminating light to the optical window from the inside, an optical sensor 116 for detecting the reflected light of the illuminating light, an image processing means for outputting image data corresponding to the surface aspect of an object on the optical window according to an output from the optical sensor, and a coordinate signal output means for outputting a coordinate signal depending on a movement aspect according to the image data output by the image processing means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
