LASER OSCILLATION CONTROL METHOD OF PULSE LASER, AND PULSE LASER SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To modulate light emitted from a laser resonator without using any external optical elements.

SOLUTION: Light emitted from a pulse laser is detected, the laser oscillation of the pulse laser is controlled so that the ratio of a pulse component included in the emitted light to a continuous component reaches a preset value based on the detection result. Emitted light including the pulse and continuous components at the above ratio is emitted from the pulse laser. The state of a target irradiated with the light emitted from the pulse laser is detected. The laser oscillation of the pulse laser is controlled so that the ratio of the pulse component included in the emitted light to the continuous component reaches a preset value based on the detection result, thus emitting light containing the pulse and continuous components at the ratio from the pulse laser.
