<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car body structure, reinforcing a floor panel having a bulged part for housing a fuel tank in a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: In this car body structure, the bulged part 15 for housing the upside of the fuel tank 12 is formed on a floor panel part 17 for installing a front seat 10 in the floor panel 6 by deep drawing with at least the flat panel part 17a to 17c extending from the base of the bulged part 15 to the front edge of the vehicle and the side edges at both sides in the width direction left undone. The flat floor panel parts 17a to 17c extending to the base of the bulged part 15 separated from the front edge and the side edges of the floor panel 6 are the parts to which the skeleton members 3, 33, 34 of the car body 2 can be fixed.
