<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exposure head which can enhance exposure quality by eliminating leaked light through the use of a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: This exposure head, which is used for forming a latent image on a photoreceptor in an image forming apparatus, comprises: a wiring board (5) with a predetermined wiring pattern; a light-emitting element chip (2) which has a plurality of light-emitting elements (3), where light-emitting parts of the respective light-emitting elements are arranged on the side of one surface, and which is face-down-mounted on the wiring board in such a manner that the light-emitting parts face one surface of the wiring board; a plurality of light guiding holes (8) wherein each of the light-emitting parts is arranged in one opening, and which are provided in such a manner as to pass through the wiring board so that light emitted from each of the light-emitting parts can be emitted to the outside from the other opening; and a reflection film (9) which is provided on a wall surface demarcating each of the light guiding holes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
