<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily prevent a malfunction by a user operation or the like, information leakage, alteration, system destruction, etc., without correcting an application or an OS, in regard to a menu controlling method for controlling the menu items on a menu. <P>SOLUTION: This menu controlling method is adapted to control a copy of data. In the menu controlling method, an operating system transfers data to a clipboard according to a copy operation by a user; the copy operation is detected when hooked and notified by the operating system in indicating the copy of the data; when the copy operation is detected, the content of the clipboard is cleared when copy suppression is registered in a predefined definition file; and the content of the cleared clipboard is copied by transferring it to the corresponding application after the clearing thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
