PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric resonator for much more widely adjusting a frequency, and for suppressing the deterioration of a non-load Q value without largely moving a disc tuning board. SOLUTION: The dielectric resonator 100 includes: a resonator main body 1 having a cylindrical resonator part 11 equipped with a resonator part through hole 111 and a cylindrical supporting stand part 12 equipped with a supporting stand part through-hole 121 put through the through hole of the resonator part, and joined to one end of the cylindrical resonator part; and a disc tuning board 2 equipped with a tuning board through hole 21, and installed so as to be faced to the other end face of the cylindrical resonator part, and so as to be movable in the axial direction of the cylindrical resonator part. When the outer diameter of the cylindrical resonator part is defined as d<SB>a</SB>, and the outer diameter of the disc tuning board is defined as d<SB>b</SB>and thickness is defined as t<SB>b</SB>, d<SB>b</SB>/d<SB>a</SB>is 0.9 to 1.1, and t<SB>b</SB>/d<SB>b</SB>is 0.1 to 0.2.
