PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal head angle adjusting mechanism capable of accurate adjustment of the angle of a corner edge type thermal head which requires angle adjustment with respect to a platen roller at the time of assembly. SOLUTION: The thermal head angle adjusting mechanism permits detailed adjustment of the angle of a thermal head with a platen roller by bisecting a supporting mechanism to attach the thermal head into a moving supporting mechanism to which the thermal head is attached and a fixed supporting mechanism, performing angle adjustment by making the common rotary shaft of both supporting mechanisms coincide with the position of the heating section of the thermal head and by adjusting the angle by pushing the moving supporting mechanism by rotating a cam provided in the fixed supporting mechanism.
