PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clothespin capable of suppressing the increase in the number of components and preventing the deterioration of work efficiency. SOLUTION: This clothespin is provided with clamp parts 11 and grip parts 12 in one side and the other side of a swing fulcrum 10 respectively and applies a pushing force to the clamp parts 11 in a closing direction by a spring force. This clothespin is further provided with a spring 3 having groove abutment parts 3b formed in C-shaped both ends 3a and bending parts positioned slightly close to the center of the ends in such a manner as to be positioned close to the ends of counter parts; and a clothespin body 2 having a pair of swinging pieces 1 formed with the swing fulcrum 10, the clamping parts 11, and the grip parts 12 respectively, wherein the groove abutment parts 3b of the spring abut on the outsides of the respective swing pieces, and having guide grooves 13 guiding the abutment position to move between a first position A which is closer to the clamp part 11 than the swing fulcrum 10 and a second position which is closer to the grip part 12 than the swing fulcrum according to the opening/closing state of the clamp parts 11.
