The invention relates to a bridging device (1) for an expansion joint (2) arranged between an abutment (3) and an overhang (4) in a travelling construction. The abutment and overhang are provided with recesses (8) adjacent to the expansion joint, said recesses being filled with polymer concrete (10), and wherein a retaining section (16) of a metallic edge profile (14) is respectively embedded therein. An elastic sealing profile (27) extends between the two edge profiles and is sealingly connected to the two edge profiles. A toothed profile (21) is connected to each edge profile (14) on the surface thereof, wherein the surface thereof (22) terminates with the surface (11,12) of the polymer concrete (10) and the lining of the roadway (6) and whose teeth engage with the other respective toothed profile. |
