The locking device (1) for the locking of a folding door in an open position, wherein at least one door section is guided by a running roller in a running rail (10), has a pressure piece (3) acting on the running roller. The pressure piece is installed to move against a restoring force. The pressure piece interacts with the circumferential face of the running roller. The pressure piece penetrates through a hole (11) in the running rail. The pressure piece may be constructed as a ball or as a bolt with a rounded free end (9). Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a folding door with the aforesaid locking device; and (2) a folding-sliding door with several of the aforesaid locking devices.
