AV SERVER

摘要

There is provided an AV server capable of internally establishing a logical connection and appropriately managing connection with a plurality of client devices even when a physical connection is firstly requested from a client device. The AV server includes: protocol processing means for processing a command for managing the logical connection by using communication means; and connection management means for managing a physical connection of content data distribution means and a connection with the client devices based on the logical connection according to the connection ID. When the communication means has received a content data distribution request based on the physical connection from the client device, the content data distribution device checks the connection ID by the connection management means. If the connection ID cannot be confirmed, the connection management means is requested to generate the connection ID.
