<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording medium with ameliorated glossiness, feathering resistance, curling resistance at the time of non-printing and printer conveyability, and a method for manufacturing the inkjet recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: This method manufactures an inkjet recording medium with an ink absorbing layer comprising at least a single layer of inorganic fine particles, formed on a support with 500 to 10,000 g/(m<SP>2</SP>day) moisture permeability, not less than 50 C-value and not less than 20% 60° glossiness. The layer closest to the support contains gelatin and further, a layer containing a chemical compound represented by formula (A) is formed on an opposite side surface to the surface having the ink absorbing layer with the support sandwiched in between. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
