<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when resetting is tried to perform by a printer in which a filtering has been already set in a network installing, it is necessary either to release the filtering in advance or to initialize the printer for the installing, and when the filtering is restored after the installing, it is necessary to input again. <P>SOLUTION: In order to obtain convenience of the installing, when the filtering is set, the filtering is released temporarily, and it is returned to the original state after the installing is finished.
