<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a plurality of simultaneous connections for one user while keeping orthogonality of a plurality of users by introducing two-dimensional orthogonal spreading codes and a chip interleaver and to perform high-quality transmission by obtaining a frequency diversity effect. <P>SOLUTION: An OVSF code generation unit 3 generates one-dimensional OVSF codes of a code length N<SB>t</SB>chip, which are orthogonal codes corresponding to a first dimension and original for each user, and one-dimensional OVSF codes of a code length N<SB>f</SB>chip, which are orthogonal codes corresponding to a second dimension and original for each connection. Spreading units 1 and 2 use two-dimensional OVSF codes of a code length N<SB>t</SB>×N<SB>f</SB>depending on the one-dimensional OVSF codes outputted from the OVSF code generation unit 3 to spread transmission data of connections 1-K. An interleaver 5 of the N<SB>t</SB>×N<SB>f</SB>chip outputs transmission data while mixing the order of chips in a chip sequence spread by the spreading units 1 and 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
