ILLUMINATOR, IMAGING DEVICE, AND PORTABLE TERMINAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illuminator having excellent brightness and color rendering index, a camera device using the illuminator which can acquire a bright image even at a remote distance can suitably photograph a person, and also to provide a portable device having the camera device mounted thereon.

SOLUTION: A portable flashing device comprises a first flash region and a second flash region. A first light emitting element including a light emitting diode for emitting near-infrared light or blue color light and also including an organic red-color light-emitting phosphor is provided in the first flash region. A second light emitting element including a light emitting diode for emitting near-infrared light or blue-color light, and also including a phosphor other than the organic red-color light-emitting phosphor is provided in the second flash region. An identical type of light emitting diodes are used in the same flash region.
