PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for an AC motor which has higher responsiveness than in a conventional way by setting an output of a DC intermediate voltage regulator to a torque command value, and controlling a DC intermediate voltage using the torque command value when the service of an AC power supply is interrupted.
SOLUTION: This controller for the AC motor performs a vector control using an inverter, and recovers inertial energy of the motor or a load to the inverter so that deterioration of the DC intermediate voltage of the inverter is suppressed when the service of the AC power source is interrupted. The controller includes a DC voltage discriminating device 11 for outputting a discrimination signal by detecting the power interruption of the AC power source when the DC intermediate voltage is dropped down to a predetermined operation continuity level; a DC intermediate voltage regulator 14 started by the discrimination signal, and for calculating and outputting a torque command value for maintaining the DC intermediate voltage to the operation continuity level; and a change-over switch 15 for switching the torque command value of a motor 3 in non-power interruption to the torque command value from the DC intermediate voltage regulator 14 by the discrimination signal.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
