PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that since the control of exposure, picture quality and focus or the like corresponding to a specific object is executed in a specific scene photographic mode for photographing the corresponding object, there is possibility that any defective picture is photographed, for example, a dark picture is photographed due to under-exposure or a bright-area-gradation deteriorating picture as a whole is photographed due to over-exposure at the time of photographing any object other than the corresponding object in a photographic scene mode set by a user, and especially that since the luminance level of the object always changes even during photographing at the time of photographing a moving image, there is high possibility that any defective picture is photographed. SOLUTION: In a specific scene photographic mode, the luminance level of an object is calculated, and when it is beyond a proper exposure range, an elapsed time is measured, and when the elapsed time is a predetermined time or more, a display part is made to display warning, and various camera parameters starting with a gain are controlled so that it is possible to prevent any defective picture from being photographed.
