PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a lip-type pressure relief valve installed in a sealing pad. SOLUTION: The pressure relief valve 11 installed in the sealing pad 4 of a pressure vessel relieves pressure by opening the valve when pressure in the pressure vessel exceeds a predetermined value, and has a lip member 21 installed in a hole 12 formed in the sealing pad 4. The lip member 21 is a seal lip 23 brought in contact with the inside surface 12a of the hole 12, and integrally formed with a base 22 fixed in the hole 12. A communication passage 25 to be a relief passage is formed in the base 22 or between the base 22 and the inside surface 12a of the hole 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
