CONDENSER AND ITS ASSEMBLING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a condenser and its assembling method capable of improving transporting efficiency of heat exchanger components and easiness in assembling in a power generating unit. SOLUTION: This condenser for cooling and condensing exhaust steam from a steam turbine, comprises a condenser main body portion 1 receiving the exhaust steam from the steam turbine, and a heat exchanger unit 2 incorporated in the condenser main body portion 1. The heat exchanger unit 2 comprises a plurality of supporting plate blocks 4 formed by unitizing a plurality of supporting plates 3, and a plurality of cooling tubes 5 inserted into the supporting plates 3 after the supporting plate blocks 4 are successively incorporated in the condenser main body portion 1.
