PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately carry out processing based on conveyance quantity of a rolled paper. SOLUTION: A rolled paper printing device does not perform processing for adding a count value of a moving counter 43a to a count value of a decision counter 43b during a floating period, in which probability of carrying the rolled paper P in the winding direction with operation by an operator is low, namely during a period from start to conclusion of conveyance without printing operation, or during a period from conclusion of printing to return of the tip of the rolled paper P to a heading position after conveying the rolled paper P to a cut position and cutting the rolled paper P, or during a period from start to conclusion of conveyance with operation of an operation panel 36 by an operator. Since decision timing is not determined, conveyance quantity decided once is never changed later to a small value. Consequently, an alarm related to use-up of the paper to be output on the basis of residual quantity of the rolled paper, which is obtained by subtracting conveyance quantity of the rolled paper P stored in the decision counter 43b from the initial residual value, can be appropriately performed.
