PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve riding comfort and driveability while maintaining high-speed durability of a pneumatic tire 11. SOLUTION: Since a proximity belt ply 25 and belt cords 27, 26 buried in the next proximity belt ply 24 are increased in angle A of inclination to a tire equator in order, tensile force or compressive force generated in a position away from the neutral axis of bending in grounding deformation elongates or compresses the coating rubber between the belt cords 26 of the next proximity belt ply 24 inclined at a comparatively larger angle A of inclination to the equator, whereby the resistance function to the tensile force or the compressive force is deteriorated to reduce a longitudinal spring constant of the pneumatic tire 11.
