A polymer electrolyte type fuel cell generation system includes: a fuel cell (101), a fuel gas supply device (101) for supplying a fuel gas to an entrance of the fuel gas of the fuel cell, an oxidizing gas supply device (103) for supplying an oxidizing gas to the entrance of the oxidizing gas of the fuel cell, cooling fluid supply device (104) for causing a cooling fluid to pass through a cooling fluid path of the fuel cell so as to cool the fuel cell, and a control device (108). When generation is performed, the control device controls the cooling fluid entrance temperature via the cooling fluid supply device so as to satisfy T1 = T2 + 1 degree C, wherein T1 is the dew point conversion temperature at least at one of the entrances (403, 404) of the fuel gas and the oxidizing gas and T2 is the temperature at the entrance (401) of the cooling fluid.
