The hoisting device has a housing (10), a pipe (30), which slides in the housing, and a bar (40), which slides in the pipe. A quadrant (20) is fastened to the housing, a second quadrant (33) is fastened to a lower section of the pipe, a third quadrant (35) is fastened to an upper section of the pipe and a rope (80) is connected across the quadrants and with the bar connected. An operating device (50) is connected for rolling up the rope. The operating device has a housing (51) and a swiveling wheel (52) is fastened to the housing (51), for rolling up the rope.
