<p>The tool (1) is designed as a cylindrical shaft (2) with a tapering front (3) and a rounded tip (4). The standard blade used for the obturator (1) has a cutting edge with a v-shaped cross section and is sometimes too quickly guided into the tissue, resulting in a damage of adjacent organs. The new design of a blade (6) is provided with an s-shaped cutting edge (8) arranged in two wide spiral segments in a slot (5) at the tip (4) of the obturator (1) and has to be guided through the tissue in a more protective rotary motion.</p> |
