<p>A pattern information registration apparatus is provided for discriminating pattern information data to be judged for registration and registering the data so as to be used for pattern matching. In the pattern information registration apparatus, discretionary pattern information data having the same number of feature points as that of the pattern information data to be judged is formed, an identification accuracy which indicates the degree that the pattern information data to be judged matches the discretionary pattern information data is calculated, and based on the identification accuracy, conformity/nonconformity of the pattern information data to be judged is judged.</p> |
