The kneading cascade has at least two kneading chambers. The kneading chambers are arranged in series adjacent one another. Each chamber contains two kneading tools having parallel axes. The kneading tools are driven in co-rotating or counter-rotating directions. The chambers are connected to one another by using openings. The material passes through the openings in a direction transverse to the axes of the kneading tools. At least the first kneading chamber has a feed opening and the last kneading chamber has a discharge opening. The chambers provide a raw organopolysiloxane mixture. The organopolysiloxane compositions have a viscosity measured at 25[deg]C of >=500 Pa.s.
