The humidifying device has a slotted nozzle (2,4) with a nozzle slot (10) which can be opened and closed. The slotted nozzle is flexible and elastically supported in a partial region for the execution of upward and downward movement of the nozzle lips (6,8) of the slotted nozzle. An independent claim is also included for the washing device in the printing machine.
