The layout selects transmission step of a power take-off gear to drive the power output of an agricultural vehicle equipped with control device, actuator (52) and user-operated input device connected to the input of the transmission step situated in the driver's working space. The control device is connected to a second user-operated input device (66) which is located away from the working space and which enables the input to select a neutral position for the power take-off gear.
